Great system for the money (even larger homes)
After reading several reviews, I settled on this product. My fear was it wouldn't work for my 3000 + sq ft home. All the info said it's great for apartments and small homes. I bought extra motion, door sensors, window stickers, and an extra key pad. I've gradually added more items as time/$ allows. Overall I'm very happy for the added peace of mind for a reasonable cost. At the very least it might be a deterrent. It was easy to set up and add other components later. My tip is keep the main unit in a central location to limit the distance from the different sensors. I do wish I could have a few more choices for which sensors are armed/on delay/off. Some of the different arming sequences are not intuitive and tough to remember, but the basic arm/disarm is easy.

Nice system
This is a very nice system for the DIYS people. You need to be a little bit technical when its time to do some advanced tinkering. The system does its supposed to do - secure the perimeter. I would not place the main unit near the door. Place it somewhere where the intruder can't see the light. It can easily be ripped of the wall and smashed in case. I would add an audio alarm add-on and install one indoor and one outdoor (its waterproof)- which I did. Also changed the master code and dont leave the deafault one, again for obvious reasons. The sound is loud and disorienting. It would definitely wake the whole house and freak out the intruder. Im still trying to figure out how to bypass the beeping sound when the alarm is tripped before the main siren goes off. I dont want to give an intruder time to find the main unit and breaking it. I want the siren to go off as soon as the alarm is tripped. I use the remote key to arm and disarm anyway. Its also easy to add-on. Since it is wireless, stock up on the batteries and test it once a month by using the chime mode. For the price you can't beat it. I've had the system for a month now with no problems and the best part - NO MONTHLY DUES.

excellent service!!!
I had to call the service tech twice. An actual knowledgeable human being answered both times,..amazing. They both walked me thru some custum setup for my dental practice.
The best part!!! Calling ADT and telling them to pick up their crap and no more 60 bucks a month for lousy, rude service. I got this alarm because ADT was so rude to me,..they kept charging me 30bucks for false alarms due to wind. They admitted their system was faulty, but they still said they "HAD" to charge me 30 bucks extra for every false "wind" alarm. HAHA. This new system is better, zero false alarms so far..AND no monthly fees! Love it! Fun to install (electric drill, small screwdrivers, a free day) the instructions are excellent,..I think it's gonna freak out the bad guys seeing those antennas,..and hearing a hidden speaker phoning numerous phone numbers in the background. Now, instead of an unarmed ADT "guard" coming in an hour to jot down notes about the burglary that took place,..let's just say we'll jot down notes AFTER everything is OK. This is a highly recommended system,..do it yourself security,..especially since many states (California) are cutting back Police and letting criminals go back to the streets due to their budget deficits.
A Plus: you can add an endless assortment of sensors,..just "learn" them into the system. I already am going to order those cool remotes for all my trusted employees

Very Good
very easy to install. only problem: motion sensor went bad, i returned it and received a refund for the sensor. easy transaction. For the price its great. By the way I install security systems part time and would suggest this product (for the price) to my customers.

Easy set up, fast install ad very user friendly. The auto dialer is a bit touchy to set up bt it is a great add on for persoanl property security.

Hands down a real deal
I bought these protective covers for my new iPod Touch. Incredibly low price compared to going to the Apple store. I paid .50 for a single cover at a Apple retail store in Syracuse, NY, a year ago. Never again!

Does what it says...
It is slightly more expensive than other products but it does the job pretty well.

Cheap way to protect Expensive product
The iPod Touch was the first device I've ever owned where the screen is the input device. So I didn't expect that the biggest issue I have with the Touch is how marked up the screen can get. Not only that, but the thing costs so much, I'm concerned about damaging it.

The Belkin screen overlays work absolutely perfect. They are relatively easy to put on and it hasn't budged since I put it on, which was shortly after I bought the Touch in Feb 09. I haven't noticed any significant change in the sensitivity of the touch screen.

It does come with 3 in the pack, so I would expect that these will last a really long time. I've used the Touch daily since I bought it, and I haven't noticed any wear and tear where I'd need to replace the first overlay I put on.

I recently bought the Belkin silicon case that protects the back of the Touch as well. With the two in place, the Touch is very well protected.

I won't bother with pros/cons since the overlays seem to work so well. I would absolutely recommend that you buy this and put it on as soon as possible. Also, be sure to clean the screen prior to applying the overlay.

Does what I needed
I'm satisfied with the results of the Belkin Screen Overlay. It was very easy to apply. Under certain lighting conditions the overlay has a rainbow effect which I found mildly distracting. I haven't tried other screen overlays, but I think that overall this is a good buy (3-Pack) and it does a good job at protecting the screen on my iPod Touch.

My satellite reception is clear again!!
Have a dual channel satellite dish. One tv on channel one (clear), and 4 tvs on the other which had a very poor picture. When speaking with a satellite installer, he suggested that I purchase an amplified splitter. I had purchased one previously, and I'm not sure if just quit working, but when this one was installed the picture was clear!!! Very easy instructions to hook it up! Great purchase for the price!!!

Works great
Before I put this little jewel in my distribution, I had several TV's that would regular pixelate and drop signal. Now, all the TV's have crystal clear reception. I've not missed my cable since hooking into the new digital over-the-air signals.

Great product
When Comcast upgrade their digital cable, some channels apparently have weaker signal. I can't receive Discovery, CNN, TLC, Animal Planet, etc. Checking the Amazon product and reviews, I found this could be the product I need. Indeed, it is. After I purchased and installed this product, all channels are received. Very happy about the investment.

I bought this amp/splitter to solve the following problem:
In my home office I have a cable modem and a TV with one cable drop (outlet). I used a passive high bandwidth splitter to feed the modem and the TV. Naturally the signal degraded somewhat after the split. Initially, the modem was able to lock on the signal and perform well. Over time and signal strength fluctuations from the cable company caused the modem to behave erratically and would frequently lose the connection to the internet. If I bypass the passive splitter the modem would function perfectly.
After receiving the amp/splitter I hooked it up to the main drop from the cable company coming into the house and powered it up with the included power adapter (literally took me 5 minutes to do all the connections). I immediately noticed that the picture on my analog and digital TVs improved significantly and most importantly the modem was able to lock on the signal and connect to the internet with the passive splitter installed.
Just one word of caution. Last night the power in our neighborhood was out for a couple of hours following a severe thunderstorm. This amp/splitter would totally block the signal if it loses power. The reason I mention that is because I have a UPS (uninterruptable power supply)as a backup power to my pc, modem and digital phone (VoIP). During previous power outages I was able to maintain internet and phone connectivity for as long as the UPS batteries lasted (typically 10+ hours with the PC/monitor/printer/fax turned off). Last night I lost the internet and phone connection during the outage. I will just have to add a simple cable switch to bypass the amp/splitter in case of a power outage and another in my office to bypass the passive splitter.
Overall I like this product and would recommend it.

HP Printer Model 6310
HP Officejet 6310 All-in-One Printer

I have used it very little since purchase. However, I selected it because another 6310 in our retiremenmt community served multiple unskilled users daily without a problem. In effect, it was "bullet proof"

It's what I wanted.
This all-in-one is a replacement for one that i had for three years. It does just what I expect and the price is very good. The only other consideration is that this model is not wireless which would be convenient.

Great product at a decent price
This model replaces an identical model that we just plain wore out. We use the 6310 all day long for everything possible and are very pleased with this product. Hopefully HP keeps making this for some time as we have had such good performance from it that we plan to keep replacing them as we wear them out.

Great product, easy setup, SUPER fast
It connects to the RJ45 port but still hits the wireless access point but was about 10 times faster wireless than my internal Netgear card! YAY!!

Fantastic
I wanted to be able to download Netflix movies from my new TiVo. I ended up with this unit after trying to go with another (D-Link) similar product. I should have listened to the little voice and gone with this one in the first place. I have a Linksys Wireless-N Broadband Router and have always had good luck with Linksys. However, for the money I wanted more than one port, so I went with the D-Link that had four ports. I spent a half a day on the phone with D-Link Support and Linksys Support each telling me that the problem with configuration was with the other. I gave up and sent back the D-Link.

When I got the Linksys unit I popped the CD in my computer and in less than 10 minutes I was watching a movie from the internet through my TiVo. I never had to even call support. Great product, easy installation, but then again, it is with a Linksys Router. I think that is the key.

Awesome product! Works great with Netflix, YouTube and Cinemark Movies. No delays in transmitting movies v.i.a. through internet. Communicates directly to wireless router through Blu-Ray player. Quality and performance are incredible! Highly recommended. Takes only 15 minutes for setup.

Canon Powershot SD1200IS Digital Camera
So far I like the camera, however a printed manual would be much appreciated. All that comes with this camera is the small "Getting Started" booklet, and all else must be accessed via the computer disk, which is very inconvenient when in the field with the camera. There are too many features and controls to memorize the functions, and the controls are not all simply intuitive.

Power shot 1200
We previously had a Cannon G3 and loved the quality of pics and the color rendition, but it is a larger camera and cant put it in shirt pocket and heavy for purse. This one is a lot smaller, quality pics, larger lcd, easy to use, and has image stabilization. So far, we love it. Does not come with memory card so get one and an extra battery.

Very happy with purchase
We are very happy with this camera. It is very easy to use right out of the box. Most of the features can be figured out very quickly without using the booklet.

The pictures are great. The 'green square' focus feature is great. We like the feel. Be sure to get a camera case for it - the camera is almost too small.

Be careful though, the high res can easily make the pictures too big to upload or email.

Downside: The preview mode is hard to get switched out of the 'picture-in-picture' mode - we never could figure out why in the heck they put that totally useless "feature" in for. It can also be a little difficult to change the resolution - but you'll eventually figure it out.

We compared this to a Nikon Coolpix that a friend had and we liked this one better.

Very happy so far
The camera is easy to use and takes great pictures and by now I would have put batteries in twice in my old camera.

More Power For Your Money
I have had these AAA batteries for a couple of years. I use them for my mp3 player, my Sony sports radio, and my Mighty Bright clip-on light.

These give me about as much power as the regular Duracell Coppertop AAA alkaline batteries.

- Capacity
Although not mentioned in the product description, the capacity of these batteries is 1000 mAH. Duracell also makes these Pre-Charged 1000 mAH AAA Rechargeable Batteries (1000 mAH is the highest capapcity of AAA rechargeable batteries that Duracell makes as of this writing).

- Battery Life
I'm very satisfied with the battery life of these batteries. I frequently use my Might Bright light to read. These Duracell batteries give me 15-20 hours of light before my the light grows noticeably dimmer. After that, I can still squeeze some juice out of them to get a few more hours of usable light. And on my antiquated Cowon iAUDIO 4 player, I get about 10 hours from a single Duracell AAA Rechargeable battery!

I have both an Energizer and a Duracell battery charger. These batteries perform spectacularly no matter which charger I use to charge them.

- Pre-Charged Alternative
Whenever you're in a pinch and need some batteries (say you're out vacationing), instead of buying alkaline batteries, I'd also really recommend that you try these Pre-Charged Duracell Batteries. They're ready to go right out of the package, and after they have been depleted, you can pop them in your charger to charge them right up and reuse them again.

These Duracell AAA Rechargeable Batteries last a long time in my medium-drain devices. I'm more than satisfied with the performance on these Duracell Rechargeable Batteries.

WORKS GREAT, GREAT INVESTMENT
These batteries work great. They are a great investment, they help prevent waste and protect the environment. They can be recharged up to 1,000 before going bad. I found that they were several dollars cheaper through Amazon than at local stores.

Very satisfied
I use both duracell and energizer AAA rechargeables in my BlueTooth transmitter and headset for my MP3 player, these Duracells last at least 75% longer than the energizers. Both brands are less than 3 months old so don't know what the long term holds but so far very happy with the Duracells.

They work great and save the planet.
They are batteries so if they work that is all you can expect. They work!

Seagate Barracuda 1.5 TB
I had a fair amount of problems installing this drive. It was recognized, but would not format. I must have tried a dozen times and then started searching for a solution. After hours of searching and going down many false trails, I found an article (not on the Seagate site) that mentioned the individual needed to update the NVIDA drivers. Although I keep fairly current, I must have only been updating the video card drivers. I found a complete update on the NVIDA site (after some time) and once I made the update, the drive was able to be formatted. The drive is working fine, but due to the lack of information on the problem, I cannot give it more than 3 stars due to all the problems I had.

Popped right into a 24 inch iMac!
Anyone that would care to have ENORMOUS Hard Drive space in your 24" iMac should buy this little unit. It popped in using the info on this site.[...] I did the job myself. Now Photoshop CS4 has endless space to use. Not to mention it being fast and inexpensive.

Great product
Unpack it, plug it into the drive bay, turn on, format it and it works flawlessly. This is the second barracuda i've dropped into my macpro and both are working out just great.

and as always the results are stunning.........
why would you want to use knock off ink.....in such a high quality photo printer.......I guess you get what you pay for!!

I like the genuine replacements because the colors are truer than knockoff replacements. The only problem (which is with the Artisan) is the ink runs out too fast.

This ink fits the Epson Artisian 800 Printer. The ink is hard to find in many retail stores and I have never seen in discount stores such as Walmart and Sams. I have made my purchases on Amazon and Epson. Expect to pay full retail plus shipping. Per page cost for color photos is high.Purchases from Epson and Amazon were filled promptly.

Samsung LCD-HDTV 22 in LN22B460
FABULOUS TV. This my my 3rd Samsung HDTV. We needed a smaller one for the den and this is perfect. As always, Samsung's pictures are clear and vivid. We have 2 other Samsungs - one 32 in. and one 45 in. Will ALWAYS buy Samsung. Their refrigerators are great too.

I think the product is outstanding. The clarity of picture is striking. Set-up was largly intutitive. Basically I didn't need the instructions that came with the device. But it would have been good to have instructions on how to fine tune the picture for the room and ambient lighting conditions. There were none. There happend to be an article in the newspaper that week that was very useful.

Samsung LN22B460 LCD HDTV
Excellent TV - Great Picture - Very good price - Highly recommend the Series 4 over the series 3 or 2. Samsung series levels is an easy way to differentiate between quality levels.

Great picture, abysmal sound
With the recent transition to all digital broadcasts, we decided to upgrade our old 13" Toshiba instead of buying a converter box. We settled on this Samsung (LN22B460), a 22" model. The tuner on the TV scanned and found most of the digital signals in our area easily enough, even using basic rabbit ears as the antenna. The menus on the TV are clear and easy to navigate. The picture is great -- nice rich colors and good contrast -- the best I've seen in an LCD TV of this size.

However, the sound is almost totally unacceptable. It is incredibly nasal and sounds like everyone who speaks is trapped in a big can. This must owe principally to the fact that the speakers aren't front firing and cannot be too large given the slender cabinet. Adusting the EQ settings in the Audio menu seems to have little effect on the nasal, dry, recessed quality of the sound. My laptop computer sounds better. We'll be keeping the TV but adding some small speakers so it'll sound at least as good as the old Toshiba 13".

Recommended but with reservations about the sound.
